Replacement Policy
It is not uncommon for the adult flies to die in transit but for the eggs and larvae to survive. Dead cultures are therefore defined as ones in which:
- the eggs and larvae, as well as the adults, were killed in the shipping process, or
- the adults you have received are unable to reproduce.
If you notify us within one week of receiving the shipment that the cultures are "dead" (according to the definition above), we will resend the lines.
Please contact office@vdrc.at with the order number and list of VDRC_IDs that were dead. To share the cost burden, we will place a reorder free of charge, but you will have to pay the shipping costs.
We only allow one replacement stock per paid stock. If the reorder stock also arrives dead we will not send a further reorder but request that you place and pay for a new order.
